Made for garden and household use, excellent for basketry. Probably
the best clipper, if you’re going to have just one. Fine enough for
trimming, sturdy enough to cut heavy stock.
Precision ground blades and return spring. The perfect tool for clipping
off round reed as close as you need to.
Tight-gripping, spring loaded, with plastic-covered handles. We have
two sizes. The smaller ones (2" long) have
plastic-coated jaws. The larger ones (3¼" long) have bare metal jaws. Both sizes are now sold individually
A clear plastic template. Use the row of round holes to check the
size of round reed from #0 to #17. There are also 8 rectangular notches
for measuring flat reed widths.
A heavy (22 oz) painted steel ruler, 16" long, calibrated out
from the center. Useful for holding work in place, as well as for
PLASTIC SELF-LOCKING TIES
Usually called "cable-ties". For basketmaking, use to
hold rim pieces in place during lashing.

Economy model. Box joint construction with spring. Use to fracture
round reed fibers before bending.
Light-weight, small snipper, useful for trimming off reed hairs.
