WEAVING: Cardweaving,
|
CARDWEAVING CARDS The smallest of “looms”. Cards are square with a round hole at each rounded corner. The warp goes through the holes of several cards held side by side. “Sheds” are made by rotating cards. The simplest kind of weaving equipment, but not the simplest kind of weaving. Ask for basic instructions, free with cards. |

Takes warps up to 8½ feet long, made of maple, one peg adjusts to control tension (Schacht uses the most forward, Beka the second one in). Both are unfinished, Beka's comes with a shuttle. Open sided for easy warping. Instructions included. |
