Schacht Crickets
The Cricket is available in a 10" or 15" weaving widths. It is made of high-quality apple ply and hard maple, and left unfinished. Each one comes with an 8-dent reed (sorry, no substitutions). We also have 5-, 10- and 12-dent reeds. Included are a threading hook, warping peg, table clamps, two shuttles, and two balls of yarn.
| 10" Weaving Width Measures only 11" x 18" x 6" and weighs just under four pounds. It's an ideal size for a new weaver of any age. As of April 2010, the Cricket has been redesigned with the ratchet gear and dog on the outside of the loom to make it easier to adjust tension. Additional reeds are available. |

| 15" Weaving Width Still compact enough to take with you easily. The 15" weaving width offers more flexibility in your choice of weaving projects. Uses the same reeds as the 15" Flip folding rigid heddle loom. |

The Cricket Floor Stand makes it even easier to use your Cricket Loom. It's simple to put your it on the stand and adjust the angle, and just as quick to take it off. The Floor Stand is made of the same apple ply as the Cricket, and also left unfinished. The 15" stand weighs 3.2 pounds; the 10" stand is slightly lighter. Note: 10" Cricket Looms made before February 2012 will require drilling two holes in each side. If you're handy or know someone who is, complete instructions and drilling template are included with the 10" Cricket Floor Stand. If you prefer, you can send your loom sides to the factory to have them drilled for a $20 charge. |
