DYES: Golden Fluid Acrylics - Page 1
Golden Fluid Acrylics are very intense, permanent acrylic colors with
a consistency similar to heavy cream. Produced from lightfast pigments,
not dyes, they offer very strong colors with very thin consistencies.
No fillers or extenders are added. Fluid Acrylics contain high pigment
levels suspended in an acrylic polymer vehicle. The result offers fine
dispersion, high tinting strength, durability, flexibility and good adhesion.
Fluid Acrylics are ideal for spraying, brushing, staining, etc. Blend
with Airbrush Medium to prevent clogging when spraying. Excellent for

MARBLING WITH GOLDEN ACRYLICS
Golden Fluid Acrylics are an excellent choice for marbling on either paper
or fabric. Dilute about half-and-half with water or Airbrush Medium. Or
mix with GAC 900 for a softer hand and better wash-fastness (see cautions).

OTHER FABRIC APPLICATIONS
Golden Fluid Acrylics, thinned with water, and mixed half-and-half with
GAC 900 to increase wash-fastness, can be used for airbrush, tie-dye,
brush-painting — or any other kind of surface design on fabric.
Golden Airbrush Medium is a 100% acrylic binder system designed
for modifying the Golden Fluid Acrylics for airbrush/spray application.
Blends very easily with the acrylics to yield a paint mixture with the
proper viscosity for airbrushing. Decreases clogging and tip-buildup during
spraying, eliminating the largest drawback to airbrushing with acrylics.
Can also be used to dilute the paints for other applications, such as
marbling.
GAC 900 is a liquid acrylic polymer emulsion which when heat-set
offers a very soft hand and laundering stability. This product is most
useful to artists painting on clothing. GAC 900 can be blended with various
acrylic colors to produce fabric paints that can be airbrushed, hand-brushed
or screen applied. Note: The heat-setting process will release low levels
of formaldehyde; therefore it is imperative that adequate ventilation
be provided. Using a dryer, vented to the outdoors, is recommended. SEE
